Beyond that I just recommend experimenting with things and character builds. In this video we look at the differences between a true solution, a colloidal dispersion (sometimes called a colloid) and a suspension. Basically this can answer 99% of your questions about items and skills. It also shows you what items have what qualities, and what books teach what skills, to what level, and what recipes they contain, as well as what recipes autolearn from certain skills. You can also search for items, see what they do, can be used to make and are made from, and where they can be found\what they can be dropped from. You can search for enemies here and see their stats, abilities, and drops. On a surface level, the primary differences seem to be the art styles, real time vs simulated tick gameplay, the fact that CDDA features a larger and more outlandish horror roster/feature set, and CDDA being fully procedurally generated. If your shaft is too heavy, then you’ll probably experience these side effects: You get less wrist-snap when you swing. This site is a godsend, it pulls information directly from the game builds and can be set to specific game versions through a dropdown at the bottom. It seems like a good point of comparison, since the games seem very similar in many ways. Having a shaft that’s too heavy will mess up your game. A lot of good advice has been given elsewhere here about the early game, so I'll instead mention this.
#CDDA TO HIT VS DISPERSIO FOR FREE#

I think it's supposed to be low (to be consistent with non-sight dispersion), but 'better' items give more sight dispersion, and are considered better for giving more sight dispersion but when actually attached to a gun, the gun with lower sight dispersion is considered better. I personally recommend Ultica which comes with all the recent builds and is decently complete, and when it comes to creatures the sprites do a better job of showing the size of the creatures than the other tilesets.
